1st Week Meeting Summary (8th- 14th August)In the first week, we continued the shelf-life experiment (started from Unit IV) till the end of the week. In addition, we organised the work plan for the whole Unit V and for the first week as well. All group members searched for information about experiments for estimating the nutritional value of the yogurt drink that would be necessary for the labelling. Furthermore, all group members searched for information over the product launch poster design. Afterwards, we realised that did not have enough time for conducting the nutritional value experiments. Therefore, the alternative option was to assess the nutritional value by ‘Windiet’ software. What is more, we decided about the design of the labelling and of the poster as well. Regarding the poster, we decided to make 2 posters: i) an A2 for the marketing and ii) an A3 for advertisement purpose. Moreover, we decided how the product launch presentation would be: what should put on the board and what on the table. Hence, we divided the work among the group members as follows: Marianna, Raj, Rong LU and Hui would buy the material needed for setting table of the product launch, Zhun Wang went to buy the raw materials for sample. , Rong Lu & Zhun Wang would estimate the nutritional value using the software and find information for the product launch and write them for the report, Rong Lu would design the labelling,Hui & Raj would search for information about marketing and write them for the report, Raj would design the handouts for the product launch, Marianna and Raj would design the poster for marketing and prepare the questionnaire for the product launch, and Hui would design the advertisement poster. For writing part, Marianna would write the unfinished task from Unit IV (results of shelf-life experiment), Raj and Hui would writ marketing part, Raj need to write whole summary, Rong Lu and Zhun Wang would write product launch plan. Finally, in the meeting we had with the supervisor, it was explained the method which would be used for the analysis of the shelf-life experiment results.
